My suspicion is the hard drive got corrupted files. There are two partitions on the drive - primary and recovery. I need data from primary partition; the recovery partition doesn't have any user's data. The drive has been dropped on the floor, when trying to boot - nothing appends just some bell noise.

The drive is 1.8-inch Toshiba, 160GB isn't accessible. The laptop doesn't see it any longer. The only attempt to check the disk was adding it as a secondary drive to a computer with no luck. Bios was not able to detect the drive. All data under user profile '...' (not sure on eact profile name).
