Not powering on at all. I did try to attach it as an external drive to a desktop through a USB connector. That was when I determined it was a hard drive problem not a power supply problem.

MK6026GAX - Error message: drive is about to fail.

Worked well till Wednesday night till 10.45pm, next day when powered on got a "Blue Screen" after windows 2000 started. Disk boot device (with some weird number) error. HDD circuit board failure detected.
