Not ready reading drive C: Western Digital WD1600JB-00REA0 external, error message

Drive DOESN'T SPIN. The drive fell about 3 feet to the carpeting...I wouldn't think could have done any physical damage but I guess so. I took it to a local comp tech and he was unable to get it to respond at all...didn't open hd/ only case. No software attempts at all.

Failed Seagate Showcase DVR ST31000SCA101-RK external hard drive repair required

CRC is the failure. (Possible corruption?) No clicking, no spinning
recovery attempts: tried in the different external USB shell. That's it - didn't work. PLEASE HELP MEEEE!!!! :)
