Recovering data from a crashed hard drive: Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 ST3500820AS

The PC froze and when I tried to restart it I heard a clicking sound from the hard drive and Windows would not load. The BIOS recognizes the drive but gives it the wrong model and BIOS wasn't able to read the drive characteristics such as size, geometry, etc. No recovery attempts were made and the drive wasn't opened. The drive is original.

Cannot access data on dead drive, Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 ST3400833AS

Drive has FEW partitions
C:, E:, F:, G:, H:, I:
Was defragging one of the partitions when it seemed to hang. After reboot, it didn't work. Drive spins and is recognized by BIOS, but I get an 'unrecognized' error. There is a clicking sound as if the heads are stuck.
