I was looking where to get repair help and recover files from corrupted Diamondmax Plus 8 hard drive

I have the problem you list. Doesn't appear correct in bios and doesn't get seen by OS. Possible Firmware issue. I tried a program that runs in dos, but it doesn't see the drive. Were not looking to spend a lot of money, so an estimate might save your time.

Not sure if BIOS recognizes HD. NO Clicking sound. IT guy took it in, but did not repair anything.
