Non-English characters CRC is the failure. (Possible corruption?) No clicking, no spinning recovery attempts: tried in the different external USB shell. That's it - didn't work. PLEASE HELP MEEEE!!!! :)

Maxtor 6H500R0 500 GB external
The drive started experiencing 'failed Writes' while copying files to it. It then started clicking noises and was not recognized by the operating system. I sent the drive to Seagate Recovery Services and they said they could fix it but I could not afford the estimated price and they returned it to me. So, it has been opened but has all original parts.
