IBM DJSA-232 32 GB laptop From Customer's order The failure that occurred was that the OS couldn't find the boot sector. I hear clicking in the hard drive. I can't tell if it was spinning or if the noise I heard was the laptop fan. The drive has not been opened. I unplugged the hard drive from the laptop, then bought a 2.5 inch case and tried to read it from another computer. It said that it made too many attempts to read the semaphores.
After recovery: Thanks for recovering my data. Randy
