The drive does not make noise and was not recognized by Bios. It is from a six year old Dell. I'd used only about half of the 1 TB... Western Digital WD400BB-00DEA0 Failure: no drive detected

Hard drive functioned fine - shut down - NO work. Bios sees drive, device manager sees drive, disk manager no drive. WD diagnostics says cable not connected.
