Error code when boot computer. Western Digital WD5000BEVT WD Scorpio Blue external While I was working on the computer, the hard drive has started making clicks the screen turned black. I shut down the computer and tried to re-boot - nothing came up, only continuous clicks. Removed the drive from laptop and installed the new one, works fine! So the problem is not with the laptop, but the hard drive itself failed. Need all the content recovered. Syntaks

Repairing of HTS421212H9AT00 external hard drive is needed with data salvage I had the external drive in my pocket and it feel from about a distance of 2-3 feet. When I connected the external drive to my PC it did not auto-detect. When I listen to the drive it makes a light clicking noise and then just stops making the noise and then the indicator light on the drive dims as if no activity is happening. Andres B.
