Error message: cannot write to the disc because disc error occurred. 6H500R0 external The drive started experiencing 'failed Writes' while copying files to it. It then started clicking noises and was not recognized by the operating system. I sent the drive to Seagate Recovery Services and they said they could fix it but I could not afford the estimated price and they returned it to me. So, it has been opened but has all original parts. Joshua K.
The new drive with the data was received, thanks for your hard work in saving it for us. I had a great experience with your company and would recommend your services to anyone.
Inaccessible 4D080H4 drive This is a 'Case #2' failure (described on your website). The BIOS is no longer recognizing the Maxtor drive model number or serial number and instead displays only the drive's 'family name'(Romulus). The computer will not boot up. POST stops at a screen that says 'F1 for Setup F2 to continue.' It was installed in a second PC as a 'slave' but it was not recognized. Kerry T.
