Not ready reading drive C: IC25N060ATMR04-9, error message Failed in BIOS or CMOS. Windows XP first 'blue screened' a couple times and refused to boot. I removed the drive and recovered as many files as possible, but experienced many errors during the copy and some folders copied over with no files inside and some pictures copied over damaged (with big gray bars across the middle of the picture). I wrapped the drive in plastic and froze it for two hours, but that did nothing. I also tried replacing the PCB with a duplicate and the drive was still not recognized by the BIOS. Anthony K.
Thanks for your efforts in retrieving our data..
Broken IC25N060ATMR04-0 drive Unable to boot laptop, have had it looked at and told that the hard drive starts spinning but will not continue to spin. OS is Windows XP. Tried to recover files by making drive a slave and booting from another drive and this is when it was decided that the drive was not continuing to spin after initial start-up. No attempt was made to repair drive after this was decided on as problem, suggested I would have to send to someone with clean room and expertise in this type of problem. Stan M.
Thank you for your data recovery service. My best wishes to your recovery team, GOOD JOB! My recommendations to your future-to-be customers!
