This is a "Case #2" failure (described on your website). The BIOS is no longer recognizing the Maxtor drive model number or serial number and instead displays only the drive's "family name"(Romulus). The computer will not boot up. POST stops at a screen that says "F1 for Setup F2 to continue." It was installed in a second PC as a "slave" but it was not recognized.

Failure of Drive occurred as not showing up or booting. Under Bios setting of automatic recognition, it will NOT show up, in manual setting it will, sometimes. Cannot be seen as a recognizable drive from Windows. Tried to re-install XP and fix boot sector with no success.
