Fujitsu MHT2040AH 40 GB laptop

This laptop hard drive was used as a mobile drive; at home, I insert into my desktop IDE and use as a local drive (for speed). This time I inserted wrong, with one pin position off (viewing with hard drive cover up, the right-most (2) pins were exposed) -- this damaged its electronics. I've swapped the control board of the new drive with the old; seems both board and the drive head are damaged.

Fujitsu MHS2060AT 40 GB laptop

From Customer's order

Deleted some programs and left computer on all night. Next morning the computer showed that it was missing a file. I tried to use the MS winXP disk to repair but it only made it worse. I took out the disk and attached it to a working computer and it stated that the drive was corrupted and unreadable.
