Problem: DISK BOOT FAILURE
The drive is spinning normally. There's very-very low clicking noise.

The drive froze up and locked my system while reading from it. The drive started clicking. I tried using Disk Warrior, but it doesn't mount so that won't work.

Toshiba MK4021GAS laptop

Toshiba MK2546GSX HDD2D90 250Gb laptop


The drive was removed from Toshiba Satellite with Windows 10 on it. The symptoms before crash:
First error was seen on the black screen 'Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause.' Tech support help tried to run computer in the safe mode to eliminate the drivers and devices that is causing the system to lock up.
After numerous blue screen errors the failed drive was replaced with a new one (no problems now), but we need to restore my outlook email (pst file in user profile) and all documents from the old hard drive.



Recovered PST is set and tested OK, documents in perfect condition too.

Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 1000 GBytes


Broken ST31000340AS 1-terabyte hard drive been sent to Seagate for an evaluation. Their price was over $3000 to recover. You are my last and the only hope to get my family memories (photos & movies) back at the affordable cost.
