The drive started experiencing 'failed Writes' while copying files to it. It then started clicking noises and was not recognized by the operating system. I sent the drive to Seagate Recovery Services and they said they could fix it but I could not afford the estimated price and they returned it to me. So, it has been opened but has all original parts.
The new drive with the data was received, thanks for your hard work in saving it for us. I had a great experience with your company and would recommend your services to anyone.

Just can't see drive in Windows nor DOS. The drive was placed in the new computer to see if the new computer would read it. Nothing came up. No other attempts were made.

Worked well till Wednesday night till 10.45pm, next day when powered on got a "Blue Screen" after windows 2000 started. Disk boot device (with some weird number) error. HDD circuit board failure detected.
